As a dog owner, I am constantly looking for new products or designs that show off I am a proud Shiba Inu owner. Most people have never even heard of a Shiba Inu since they are so rare. This is a big problem when us Shiba owners want to show off our most prized possessions. I took it upon myself to create my own Shiba merchandise :)
If you would like to know how to make your very own Shiba Inu magnet, then please keep reading!
First I started off with a trip to my local crafts store, Michaels.
These are the materials you will need:
- Sheets of foam in various colors that you feel best suit the design you want
- Fabric adhesive glue to secure the pieces on well
- A roll of magnetic tape to cut as you wish
- Scissors or maybe an xacto knife would work better
- Model Shiba Inu that I got from google images
Don't forget to use a coupon when buying anything from Michael's, you can always find one online!
I started off with my cut outs:

Trace the outline

Trace and cut out the tail and chest pieces:
Cut out the mouth piece:

I freehanded the ears, but feel to cut out
and trace them if it's easier for you:
Glue on the ears and mouth pieces:
Attach nose, eyes, tongue, and feet pieces.
Then I pop in the freezer for 10 mins so
everything is sealed together:
If you just want to make the face, which is a million times easier, this is how:
Start off with your foam and your cut out:

Trace and cut out:

Make pieces for eyes, eyebrows, nose, whiskers and mouth and attach:

Here are the two completed magnets!:

Here are the products I used:

If you aren't that crafty and are interested in purchasing your very own magnet, email me at girlmeetsproduct@gmail.com for details! I can also do other breeds if provided with a picture!
